Rolling Thunder

A waggon and horses pounding along a busy dual carriageway is an awesome sight, and the sound of iron tyres and horses hooves is enough to stop people in their tracks. It is the sound of “ROLLING THUNDER”!

A unique journey shot whilst travelling with horses by road to Appleby fair, the largest horse fair in Europe. ROLLING THUNDER uncovers the history of the fair as well as the different groups who society labels as Gypsies.

In Vitro

In Vitro, set thirty years in the future, is about 3 generations of women and the effects that a maverick scientific experiment has on their lives.

The film In Vitro is a unique collaboration. Together, a team of film-makers, scientists and philosophers have created a gripping 20-minute film. Following the story of Rachel, a wilful, brilliant young scientist, the story is one of arrogance, human failing and uncertainty, played out in a world where science and technology have the power to fragment human lives and values. Rachel has managed to create ‘artificial sperm’ using her own bone marrow.

Endangered Species: Fell Pony Breeders

A collection of five films following renowned Fell Pony Hill Breeders in and around the Howgill fells of Cumbria, giving a unique insight into their experiences of breeding semi-feral herds on the open fell.

The films document a traditional way of breeding and managing fell ponies that is endangered by the changing patterns of farming, landscape and society.
