Shooting begins on Wellcome Trust Film
Dreamtime Film and Whitewood and Fleming begin shooting fiction short for Wellcome Trust.

Based on the work of Professor Nayernia at  The Centre For Life, Newcastle, Samsara envisages a world 40 years in the future where stem cells are cultured to create sperm from womens bone marrow tissue, and stars Barbara Marten
Written by TV writer Graham Mitchell,  we also have on board scientific and ethical consultants Prof. Karim Nayernia from the Centre for Life, Newcastle, and Dr Anna Smajdor from University of Norwich.

Due for release late 2010, the film is being distributed to schools  through the Creative Partnerships network

As Wild As the Fells in production
Update
As Wild As The Fells.

The knowledge and wisdom of the last Fell Pony breeders high in the Cumbrian Fells is being preserved on film thanks to a heritage Lottery grant awarded to DReamtime Film through The Fell Pony Breeders Association.

Having completed week long workshops in 3 cumbrian schools, the project is now well under way.
Battling the deep snow, we have been out filming through the winter and are now busy editing sequences of breeders Bert Morland, Andrew Thorpe, Bill Potter, Thomas Capstick and Colin Roberts.

Live Before You Die
LIVE BEFORE YOU DIE has been selected  at the 12th CinemAmbiente – International Environmental Film Festival (Torino – Italy 8-13 October 2009) in the INTERNATIONAL SHORT FILM COMPETITION.

CINEMAMBIENTE represents the  first and most important  international event on cinema and environment taking place in Italy,  organized by the ITALIAN NATIONAL MUSEUM OF CINEMA,  it has the support of the  UNEP (United Nations Environmental Programme), UNRIC  (United Nations Regional Information Centre for Western Europe). It is founder member of the International  Environmental Film Festival Network (EFFN), which brings together the most important Festivals on Environment (Italy, Spain, Greece, Brasil,  France, South Corea, Armenia.) Our aim is to promote environmental films and its contents all over the world.
